Questions

Structure/property claims and content claims are covered under different sections of your insurance policy, and filed as separate claims. Dennett Restoration will work directly with your insurance company to promptly submit your property and content claim as one claim.

Part of our assessment process includes creating an inventory of each item that we recover from the scene. From there, we assess each item’s condition and decide what must be disposed of. Everything will be accounted for and documented.

Let us know if you have any special items that were left behind in your home. We will diligently search for them, collect them and notify you of their condition.

To ensure your safety, you may only inspect your belongings while accompanied by one of our staff. After Dennett Restoration makes a detailed inventory of your belongings and their condition, a staff member can walk you through the storage unit while discussing the inventory in detail.

We understand that your belongings are important to you. When Pack-out services are rendered, we make a detailed inventory of the contents and their condition. When we begin the Pack-in services, if any of your surviving effects are damaged while being returned, we will compensate for any damages our staff may have caused.

Although we do not provide in house content restoration services, we recommend you contact one of our preferred vendors. Tell them Dennett Restoration sent you.

    Questions

Our clients usually have questions regarding their claim. Here is a list of frequently asked questions and answers to help you better understand our process and how your repairs will be handled. From roofing to fire or water restoration and much more, you can rely on Dennett Restoration.

The first step after experiencing a fire or flood is to ensure that the occupants of the building/home are safe and accounted for. After ensuring everyone’s safety, give us a call and we’ll begin to assess your property and build a restoration plan.

Corps Restoration is proud to offer free claim assistance. There is absolutely no charge for us to help you file a claim.

Every policy has its own parameters. We suggest you contact your insurance company to make sure your damages are covered.

Typically, insurance premiums increase after a claim has been made. But, when it comes to storm damages, such as wind, hail, tornado, etc., the cause is considered an “Act of God.”  Therefore, by law, your individual rates cannot be increased due to these type of damages. Contact your insurance company if you’re worried your premium will go up.

The cost of fire & water damage restoration will vary based on the cause and the extent of the damage. However, you will be responsible for paying the deductible. It is against state law for a contractor to “eat” your deductible. We will be able to give you a more specific estimate after we assess the property.

Every situation is different. The amount of time it takes to restore a building back to it’s pre-loss condition depends on the extent of the damage, how many rooms were effected, and other factors. We’ll restore your residential or commercial building as quickly and efficiently as we can, which typically requires between a week to several months to complete the job.
