    Questions

Our clients usually have questions regarding their claim. Here is a list of frequently asked questions and answers to help you better understand our process and how your repairs will be handled. From roofing to fire or water restoration and much more, you can rely on Dennett Restoration.

The first step after experiencing a fire or flood is to ensure that the occupants of the building/home are safe and accounted for. After ensuring everyone’s safety, give us a call and we’ll begin to assess your property and build a restoration plan.

Corps Restoration is proud to offer free claim assistance. There is absolutely no charge for us to help you file a claim.

Every policy has its own parameters. We suggest you contact your insurance company to make sure your damages are covered.

Typically, insurance premiums increase after a claim has been made. But, when it comes to storm damages, such as wind, hail, tornado, etc., the cause is considered an “Act of God.”  Therefore, by law, your individual rates cannot be increased due to these type of damages. Contact your insurance company if you’re worried your premium will go up.

The cost of fire & water damage restoration will vary based on the cause and the extent of the damage. However, you will be responsible for paying the deductible. It is against state law for a contractor to “eat” your deductible. We will be able to give you a more specific estimate after we assess the property.

Every situation is different. The amount of time it takes to restore a building back to it’s pre-loss condition depends on the extent of the damage, how many rooms were effected, and other factors. We’ll restore your residential or commercial building as quickly and efficiently as we can, which typically requires between a week to several months to complete the job.
